Your military skills are the raw material. This pathway converts them into the specific trade-craft, qualifications and industry connections the private sector hires on.
Leaving the Law Enforcement?
Police and law enforcement backgrounds transfer fast. Build on what you already know — threat assessment, judgement under pressure — and add the protection-specific skill set.
Starting Out?
No uniform background? Civilian entrants with a clean record are welcome — the Sentinel phase includes a weapons familiarisation day before practical training begins.
And you don't graduate alone. Pathway graduates join an active alumni network spanning both organisations — operators working on live taskings across Australia, Europe and beyond — for mentorship, ongoing development and career opportunities.
The Operator Pathway Bundle
This is one program delivered in two phases — enrolment covers the complete pathway. The Empire Advanced CPP is not available as a standalone course: you earn your place on it by completing the Sentinel CPP/PSD first.

One enrolment covers both courses; they cannot be purchased individually. The Advanced CPP is offered at a reduced rate for this pilot cohort (standard price €3,500). Accommodation in the Belgrade area is provided for the duration of training.

The Sentinel Course CPP/PSD — High Threat PSD
Your foundation. Developed and delivered by instructors with operational backgrounds in special forces, military and law enforcement — and still active in private security.
Blended Learning
138 Guided Learning Hours. An online self-paced phase covers the theory before you arrive, then an intensive 7-day practical in Belgrade — expect 16-hour training days.
High Threat PSD Focus
Close protection and protective security detail operations for high-risk environments — hands-on, experience-based training built to industry standard.
Recognised Credentials
Level 3 International Certificate in Close Protection, medical qualification options (ITLS, FREC3), and an RPL pathway to CPP31418 Certificate III for Australian and NZ students.
PHASE 2 • 12–17 NOVEMBER 2026
Empire Protection Advanced CPP — Close Personal Protection
Your edge. Six days that take you from qualified to advanced — delivered by Empire Protection operators with current, real-world executive protection experience.
Day 1 — Advanced Doctrine
Advanced close protection doctrine, team roles and the operating standard expected for the remainder of the course.
Day 2 — Mission Planning
Formal orders process — WARNORD, OPORD and SMEAC. Plan, brief and back-brief a protection task under time pressure.
Day 3 — Mobility
Mobile protection operations — vehicle drills, embus/debus, route selection and movement of a principal by road.
Day 4 — Counter-Surveillance
Surveillance awareness and counter-surveillance for protection teams — detect, confirm and respond to hostile observation.
Day 5 — Final Mission Practical
A continuous, assessed protection mission drawing on every phase of the course. You plan it, you lead it.
Day 6 — FMP & Certification
Final Mission Practical concludes with individual debriefs, performance reviews and award of the co-branded qualification.

Most training certifies attendance. This pathway assesses performance. From Day 1 of the Sentinel phase through the Empire Final Mission Practical, you are being watched by the people who staff real details — and graduates leave with a demonstrated record, not just a certificate.
