A sweep covers radio frequency, thermal and physical inspection of the rooms, floors or vehicles you nominate, conducted outside your working hours where that suits you.

A sweep is scoped before it is booked. Empire establishes what triggered the concern, who has had access to the space and when, what is discussed there, and which rooms and vehicles matter, because a sweep of the wrong three rooms is worse than no sweep at all: it produces confidence that is not earned.
The findings report separates what was found from what was inspected and cleared, and names what could not be inspected and why. A clean sweep is only meaningful over the area it actually covered, and the boundary of that area is stated rather than implied.
Where a sweep finds something, the next decision is rarely technical. Removing a device destroys the question of who placed it and when. Empire will say plainly what each option costs you before anything is touched, and the choice stays yours.
Common questions
Is a bug sweep the same thing as TSCM?
Yes. "Bug sweep" and "debugging" are the everyday names for what the industry calls technical surveillance counter measures. The work is the same: inspecting a space for listening devices, hidden cameras, GPS trackers and the weaknesses that would let someone install them.
What can a sweep actually find?
Radio frequency transmitters, recording devices, hidden cameras, GPS trackers on vehicles, and physical modifications to rooms, fittings and existing equipment. It also identifies the weaknesses that would make installing a device easy, which is often more useful than the device count.
How long does a sweep take?
It depends on the area and how thoroughly it is inspected. A single boardroom is a different job from a floor or a residence, and a proper inspection includes taking things apart rather than only scanning. Empire scopes it against the space you nominate and tells you before starting what is and is not included.
Will anyone know the sweep happened?
Sweeps are routinely conducted outside working hours precisely so they are not observed. If you suspect a device has been placed by someone with access to the building, discretion about the timing matters more than the equipment used.
Do you sweep vehicles and homes as well as offices?
Yes: offices, boardrooms, residences and vehicles. Vehicles are worth including more often than clients expect: a car is a private conversation in a space left unattended in public car parks for hours at a time.
